Hi All
I am new to the Canada forum but not BE, I am hoping that someone on here might be able to tell me a bit about Waterloo.
Basically I know nothing about Waterloo - or even Canada tbh - and hadnt even heard about it till a few weeks back.
To cut a long story short, my husband might have the option of being transferred to Waterloo with his company and we are trying to decide whether its something we are interested in. But I know nothing about the place, what is the weather like? Is it a biggish place (obviously its not London, but then neither is Sydney)? Is there a lot to do? We don't have kids, but will probably have in the next few years. We are not looking at this as a permanent thing, just something for a few years while we still feel like moving about.
We have been living in Sydney for the past 12 months and have another 4ish years left on our PR over here, so if it didnt work out we would have the option of returning to Sydney or the UK. We are not novices at the country move thing, so I am not worried about that, if we did it, this would be our 4th country in about 5 years. I am more concerned because it is somewhere I have no knowledge of, everywhere else we have been I have been to before and know something of.
We are also trying to decide whether it is actually time for us to grow up and try to settle down and not move on again so quickly, but I dont know if that will ever happen
