Hi, just resurrecting this thread. So far we have heard from Emmabell, Jempee, Fuschiagirl, Boo Boo, Canadian Star, Buggalugs, Bananahammock and Snowdog as probably coming to the meet-up and Maple Leaf, PLW and Tanah as possibles (fingers crossed). If anyone else would like to come please either add your name tp the thread or send us a pm.

We are going away for a vacation this week, needed after a busy Summer, so we will send out pm's to everyone next week with address details etc.

Look forward to meeting you all and hope that this glorious sunshine stays around for us.

Hi mette and Darren,
As you know we are also still stuck in rainy England so will not be there for your meet up but we hope to be there soon!OUr plans are in the hands of the CIC!
We can't wait to be there and also meet up with fellow expats living or in the process of moving to the island.

Thanks to all for making us feel welcome, was lovely to meet other people who have been in the same situation as we are, especially for me as Paul is all ready acclimatized due to his frequent visits to his mum.
Also sorry did not get round to talking to everyone but hope you will make yourselves know to us via this site.
Thanks again to Darren and Mette for hosting the event, I said to Paul when we get our own property I would love to do the same, so fingers crossed for the houses to sell.

It was great to meet you all yesterday and exchange stories and experiences.

Darren's pleased that there were desserts left over but does have a belly like Mount Washington this morning.
