rather than the big selection

FILMON TV FREE LIVE TV MOVIES AND SOCIAL TELEVISION

I have switched my browser from google to firefox & now use mediahint (free) instead of hola. With mediahint both ITV as well as BBC iplayers both work good

Media Hint - Free download and software reviews - CNET Download.com

My preference is Mediahint over Hola

Ok but if you download and install Firefox as your browser then look for Media Hint as an extension it comes from the same Media Hint site that tells you to try it for free but the trial is limited. So according to Media Hint it is a chargeable service regardless of your browser. I don't understand how it remains free for some unless it is only possible if you already had it on Firefox

well, about one month ago just before Xmas I changed my browser from chrome to firefox, then download (all free, no trial) mediahint

To this day, I'm still using mediahint for free

Ok i just installed it from cnet directly and it is working with no need to log in at Media Hint site for this "free trial" will see how it goes. I do have Hola working on chrome but wasn't sure how safe it was after reading some stuff a while back.

did you delete chrome as well as hola & install firefox as your only browser, because thats what I did & I had zero issues with regard to 'free trail'

No i disabled Hola but Chrome is still installed. I downloaded Media Hint through Firefox and it installed without any questions. Fingers crossed.

If anyone wants quality British/US TV then get an android box. Had mine for 3 months now (already paid for itself) letting me cut the cord from Shaw. Haven't looked back. You can use Hola and Unotelly on it.

I see a newer model available - G Box Q Quad. It looks interesting but there'd be a bit of a learning curve figuring out the Kodi software.

doesn't get local Canadian stations though - or does it?

BTW, are you still connected to cable, or do you have a digital antenna set up?

Still got cable, had it reduced and now pay $60 month but appear to have the same programmes, just got rid of the kids stuff.

I watch and see what's new on Rogers movies PPV channel then go upstairs and watch for free Lol, watched The Imitation Game and Fury last night.
