Jimmy care to explain why you think that is the case?
However, I am very fickle and my opinions do change, until recently I thought London was perhaps the greatest city in the world until I visited New York City for the first time. :) |

I prefer NYC to London, but I would not say NYC is greater to London it's just different and its the sort of different I like.

NYC has the disadvantage that, after having been stuck in a train and a subway to get to work, you then have to wait for the elevator. London still has some offices with stairs.

Depends on the height of the building. If it's thirty floors to your desk, you've no choice but to queue for yonks, if it's only two floors you can walk. London has more offices on walkable floors. And a better zoo.

That is a very point good in regards to the stairs and elevators, I have not been to London or NYC zoo so could not compare. I would assume that both London and NYC could top Chester Zoo though ;)
Riding's better in London than NYC. You can ride in Hyde Park but there's no stable in Manhattan anymore so, if you want to ride in Central Park, you have to trailer your own horse there. Parking a truck and trailer in Manhattan is not for the faint hearted. |

NY has what is considered one of the top zoo's in the world. The Bronx Zoo.
NYC is a worse place than London to walk a dog. There's little grass and the bloody thing keeps wanting to chase the rats. Londoners' lack of concern with hygiene helps in this regard, no need to fuss with picking up your pooch's product. Meanwhile the inadequate street furniture in NYC means you're left with a little bag of turd and nowhere to put it. |
