No not really ...... if it makes it any better for you I can state a different personal opinion..... I don't even have to go to Toronto to know that the answer to the question is ........ yes

However, I am very fickle and my opinions do change, until recently I thought London was perhaps the greatest city in the world until I visited New York City for the first time. :)

I suppose they all look big and exciting compared with Lower Onslow, or even Upper Onslow, but how is NYC greater than London?

I prefer NYC to London, but I would not say NYC is greater to London it's just different and its the sort of different I like.

NYC has the disadvantage that, after having been stuck in a train and a subway to get to work, you then have to wait for the elevator. London still has some offices with stairs.

Your prefer stairs to elevators?

Depends on the height of the building. If it's thirty floors to your desk, you've no choice but to queue for yonks, if it's only two floors you can walk. London has more offices on walkable floors. And a better zoo.

That is a very point good in regards to the stairs and elevators, I have not been to London or NYC zoo so could not compare. I would assume that both London and NYC could top Chester Zoo though ;)

I've not been to the Chester zoo. Bowmanville has a bit of a feeble zoo.

Riding's better in London than NYC. You can ride in Hyde Park but there's no stable in Manhattan anymore so, if you want to ride in Central Park, you have to trailer your own horse there. Parking a truck and trailer in Manhattan is not for the faint hearted.

don't get me wrong both are very good..... and you can find places in both that are shady but to me NYC feels friendlier, cleaner and I don't get that permanent feeling that I am being ripped off like I do when in London (I probably am :))

I have been to Chester Zoo and London Zoo many times. Chester Zoo is the best zoo I've been to in the UK.

NY has what is considered one of the top zoo's in the world. The Bronx Zoo.

Not considered to such by me, I thought it so-so. Still, as admitted above, I've not been to the one in Chester.

NYC is a worse place than London to walk a dog. There's little grass and the bloody thing keeps wanting to chase the rats. Londoners' lack of concern with hygiene helps in this regard, no need to fuss with picking up your pooch's product. Meanwhile the inadequate street furniture in NYC means you're left with a little bag of turd and nowhere to put it.

Easy answer - it isn't!

It does have that fabulous carousel on the river but then there's the London Eye. I suppose the choice depends a bit on which plane you want for your round-and-round.
