UK TV. Help Please
#31

Also, I think some were happy with what they got on free trials and then paid up and just don't want to risk changing what works.
Doubtless others find it hard to believe there are reliable free options.
MediaHint is still working great for me and still free.
But i just added Hola, although I have disabled it just in case both of them together mess something up.
It's nice to have something in reserve.
Of course, not everything works for everyone. I never got Expat Shield to work, nor Stealthy while others did. Some are having MediaHint problems with various workarounds being required.

Get an android box , size of a fag packet , plug into the TV and hey presto all the UK channels , Sky , BT sport , eurosport , tsn, with no monthly payments . Use online Radio Times as your programme guide .

Where can you get one of these android boxes? Do you know how much they are to buy?

(I bought some Chromecasts but the stupid things resolve against their own DNS servers and not the ones Unotelly uses, have to work out how to get them to cooperate... Just been lazy to look it up and sit down to figure it out...)

What a revelation that hola is, we are also interested in the android box now too.
We have been using HMA which is okay but we frequently lose the connection and have to switch cities.

The search I had done was just to see if it had been discussed on the forum.

So long as you have an HDMI input on the TV you'll be good . House full for the Bristol v L Welsh game tomorrow , could be history in the making from the Mem .
