It worked for me. The link, that is. Unfortunately it made not the slightest difference. My location is still excluded.

I've tried several of these sites. None of them have worked for me. However, I do use a Linux based OS, so that may make a difference, though I can't think why.

I've pretty much given up trying a proxy. I haven't tried extensively and I did once have one that made it appear I was in the UK but never for TV stuff.

Stealthy sounds brilliant. But, for me, it might as well not be there.

Actually there is one difference. When I try to get on regular sites after it's failed, if I've forgotten to disable it, it seems to delay or stop me connecting.

It's almost as if it takes me "out of Canada" but fails to convince the BBC that I'm in the UK, while later not letting me into or delaying my access to something else because it thinks I'm abroad.

I've had more or less the same experience, with the additional difficulty that I can't get the BBC iplayer to work on my computer at all, even for radio. For BBC radio, I use the Beebotron. The fact I use a Linux Ubuntu OS, rather than Windows or Mac, should not make a difference. Other people using Ubuntu, seem to be able to use the iplayer, so it is something else, but I can't work out what it is.
