QROPS it is....just getting our final one's over at no expense to us...Our Nesbitt Burns branch of BMO have been fantastic.....you can touch them after 5 years of investment in RSP's (personally I wouldn't but it's 'choices')...I suggest anyone considering spending the rest of their lives in this wonderful country get their pensions out before the UK makes some other silly rules so as to make it more difficult. It's personal choice whether you decide to invest in Canadian companies / banks or properties with your money - or to just leave it in your RSP making a safe slow return on your money.
A lot of people here retire in their early 50's by creating an income stream from their RSP's - it's great to look around and see the 52-56 yr old bracket going out in their motorhomes or getting the boat out etc....you wouldn't see it in the UK rest assured...life is for living!!!
