Sorry if this question was alredy posted and answered before.
I've got 8 years UK work experience. In order to be eligible for public pension scheme one has to work at least 10 years in the UK. I'm now re-locating to Edmonton, Alberta and have no plans to return to UK ever(well, at least this is the plan now...). Question is: is there an agreement between the UK and Canadian goverments whereby my 8 years UK experience would count towards achieving the eligibility hurdles for Canadian pension (or vice-versa)?
