Default Truck Drivers

Is there anyone out there who has sat their Canadian Class 1 recently.

My other half used to drive with class 1 in UK and was wondering how different the test is to the one he sat.

If it is different what are the differences.

Do you know how much they expect you to know about the air brakes as all jobs advertised talk about it, he obviously drove lorries with airbrakes but wondered if you were expected to beable to fix minor problems or what.

Also how much did it cost you to sit it.

Thanks in advance Alli.

Hi the air brake test is quite easy they dont want you to know the whole thing and be able to strip it down and rebuild it. Most english drivers that come out pass it first time. Dont worry about it
