Default Tofino accommodation?

Can anyone recommend anywhere reasonably priced in Tofino to stay for a few nights in Aug? Most seem to be booked up.

Tofino is the sort of place you should really be booking in January or February or even the year before, for an August visit.

You could give this B & B a try, it's a very nice place we have stayed there twice.

Unfortunately no guarantees.

You also could try Ucluelet, and see if you manage to find anything there. But, as Steve_P said, no guarantees.

You could try:-

http://www.tinwis.com/

This is a Best Western hotel. Bit commercial I know, but great location and all the rooms have an ocean view.

Thanks for all your help. We still didn't have any luck going direct to these hotels, or any others we found on Google, but OH found a chamber of trade type website for Tofino and entered our requirements in it - we have had lots of responses from B&Bs offering us accommodation and have thankfully managed to get fixed up at one we liked the look of - hope it's OK ...

We'll know next time and book earlier!
