Hi all,
Thank you very much for your directive replies, List is a great help,
Good luck to those above who have made the move, or are going too this year,
It is slowly sinking in that we are now able to go, no more cursing the postman (CIC).
Now trying to arrange flights to accommodate our 2 dogs too fly with us aiming for the end of June.
Thanks again Paul

Happy New Year!
This is all very familiar - we're going in May and already I'm finding it hard to concentrate at work. If I wake at night I've got thoughts going round and round my head of things that need doing! I feel in a mix of excitement and fear!
We're building 'carboot' and 'take' piles in the garage - we've got so much stuff to sort through. I'm finishing work at the end of March so I'll have a few weeks to get the last bits done.
Good luck to everyone moving out this winter/spring - it'd be great to know how it's going when you can get to a computer!

Another thing to add to your to do list, is to get a No Claims Certificate from each car insurance company you have been covered by. To get any no claims discount, ICBC will need proof from every company, not just the current one.

I'm not off till the end of July, but I am in a right doo dah! Part of me just wants to pack a bag and go to be honest, and abandon the house, and the dog and the cats and do a Scarlett O'Hara and think about them another day. Then I have a small attack of the responsible adult and go back to addressing my clip board. Just think Neillybhoy somewhere at the end of the panic attack is a new exciting chapter just opening - you'll get there!

Thanks for that. Reminded me of Finding Nemo when Nemo eeked
Anyways thought I was going mad so maybe I can do it officially by
"stick your fingers in your ears, close your eyes and sing loudly to yourself

1. The date the policy started and ended
2. The name(s) of those covered
3. Whether there were any claims made against the policy
The no claims bit (in BC at least) isn't really recognised unless the above information is included. It took me about 5 months to get it all sorted out, and with car insurance being so expensive here, it's well worth getting right!
