Is there an obvious reason why our computer wont work after bringing it with us ?

yes, we changed the selector at the back to the appropriate one...so you think it must be the internal power supply then?

Yeah, if you are happy the transformer is working then it can only be the PC's interal PSU (from what you have said in this thread). As someone else said you can take it to Staples and ask them to replace the internal PSU.

Could also be the grafix card that has jolted out of it's slot during transport. Or a broken grafix cable.

Beat me to it, this happened to one of our comptuers when we moved, I turned it back off, removed the card and refitted it into the slot, turned it on and away it went...

Assuming it has PCI graphics and not onboard graphics, as many motherbaords do now.
