Default teeneger- Calgary

Hello,

I am a Canadian citizen who returns to Calgary after a long stay in Norway .. (from one year)
I will learn in 12 grade next year.
I wanted to ask how this thing's going in Canada?

I just go to A store and ask if they need workers?

I want to work in Tim Horton's or something like that ..

Thank you!

I've moved your thread, as you posted it in the Job Offers section, and you're not offering a job!

Hopefully you'll get some good answers in the Canada forum though. Are you planning on doing classes or similar to improve your English before you arrive in Canada?

You don't have to spend money on classes, you could use free apps, or books from the library maybe? If your English improves, your chances of getting a job will too.

Would you need to work to help pay for things, or will your parents be supporting you when you move to Canada?

That will depend, but assuming you could work a full 8 hr shift on a Sat or Sun (leaving the other day free for study & relaxing) and assuming it's a minimum wage job, that would be approx $320 a month.

HTH.
