2. How long should register in advance?

I do not think you understood me.

I'm moving to Calgary from Norway with my son who is 18 - going into 12 class.
I wanted to ask how its work in Canada, the whole point of registration and whether the school costs money.

Ah now you make sense. You would just find out which school he can attend and if public they are free.

There is a Catholic School Board and a Public School Board. Here is the info for the Public Board:

You will need to go to Kingsland Centre to register.

Do you know what part of the city you will be living in? That would probably narrow down the school somewhat.

Well I'll tell you the truth ...

I am a the high school student.

I was born in Canada and moved to Norway at age 1.

I hate this country and I want to spend my last year in high school in Calgary.

I want a school were the student sleep in it (i forgat the name) .
But I dont have money ...

What should I do?
