My daughter lives in NS, and she was getting home delivery last year. I got the impression that grocery stores, at least in the Halifax Region, were not closed during this past lockdown, and she and her OH did quick in-and-out shopping.

Insta Cart is likely available assuming there is a participating grocery store near your location, delivery directly by grocery chain is hit and miss in Canada, all boils down to the chains in your region.

I have used home delivery for some time now and am very pleased with it. I do a “big†order every 2-3 weeks and in between use a service called CORNERSTORE for those smaller deliveries. Overall it’s a tad more expensive, but worth it to me, given my physical condition and I can afford it.

I live two hours east of Toronto in a village and can't get home delivery from supermarkets. No Doordash, ubereats, deliveroo, etc etc.

We use two different home drlivery options, 9ne for meat and one for vegetables and other stuff. True Local and On the Move Organics. Both are lical to London and deliver. Both are about tge same cost as a higher end supermarket. We then do 'fill in' shopping at a local Farm Boy. Not a cheap wsy of doing it, but very good quality stuff!
Oh, and I finally found a great, simple, clean lager I really like, an organic one from London Brewing Company, a local co-operative delivered through On the Move!

I live out of town. It takes us 15 minutes to get to down town red deer...too far out for supermarket and take out deliveries.
