Stock up before leaving UK
For those of you who already are living in Canada, if you knew then what you know now, what would you have bought in large-ish quantities before you left the UK?

Lorne sausage. Yes, you can buy it at selected 'British/Scottish' food stores but it costs a fair bit more.

Are they inferior to UK bras, and if so, how? People should be made aware of these things before they go traipsing across the globe, it's a long way to go to end up walking around commando. |

Re: Stock up before leaving UK
Bras and matching underwear. All the Canadian stores seem to think that no-one is bigger than a D cup. It's a pet peeve of mine, but I console myself with splurges on Figleaves.com and then sending the stuff to my parents in bulk, who then mail me a package of used underwear.
Count me in on the Old Job front too. Mine sucks :( |

Wait, why am I endorsing this again?! Yep, I demand a Wiki on the subject of Canadian bras. This could be a deal breaker for some people, along with hair straighteners and car stuff I don't understand. |
