I like my Mazda 3 'sport' hatchback. Fits loads of stuff in, powerful engine, handles very nicely. Mines nearly 3 years old and I'll almost certainly get another one.
There's lots of them in Ottawa for some reason I don't fully understand - they seem to be more popular here than in other Canadian cities I go to.
Although Fiats sound tempting if they're coming to Canada.
