Default Skilled Visa Application sent in...now?

Hi,

Our agent submitted our application for the Skilled Worker visa on the 6th May. Any ideas what to expect next and how long it takes to get any kind of reply ?

By the way, just got back from our recce trip to Oakville. Was amazing !

Cheers

Ryan

Hey,

Do you have work lined up in Canada, or is your occupation in demand?

Hi ChanceUK,

I see that you have a date that NS received your application. How do you know that ? Have you had an acknowledgement of Receipt? I haven't had anything at all ?

Hey Ryan,
Well done for getting your application in. We sent our Skilled worker application in on 22nd April it arrived on 27th April. We then got our 120 day letter on 30th May.So 4 weeks it took for a response. Can't believe it's all happening so fast. Good luck and i hope you get a quick response like us.

Hi Everyone,

Okay, so a bit of a mixed bag in terms of response times, but it's not strange to not have heard anything. Vimtocarr, congrats, you seemed to have got a great response. Thanks everyone.

Our application went to Sydney in Canada. I'm sure you'll have a response any day..... it's difficult to be patient isn't it?! Keep us posted and best wishes. Vimtocarr

I made a mistake with my dates, ours was sent to Buffalo on the 20th of March. Apparently they changed the rules on the 1st April, and all applications after that date are sent to Sydney. It would appear Sydney is processing them quicker!

Once you get accepted, is there a time limit as to when you actually have to be living in Canada, i.e you have to be there within 2 years ?

Mine was submitted in London on May 14th and still haven't heard anything. London is apparently one of the slowest to respond.
