SIN and MCP now we're PR.
Hi All,
We got our PR cards early in May and that's great, but is there any point or benefit of changing my (starting with a 9) SIN card?
And does this effect MCP at all?

As for MCP it's probably worth giving them a ring to ask. (As this will be a Newfoundland specific question.)

The 9 at the beginning of your SIN number denotes that you are a temporary resident, changing it to a new one without the 9 will help in all manner of situations.
