There are way too many moving parts on a treadmill for that kind of activity.

Summers probably worse than winter for outside exercise, 40+°C Humidex and Smog. Its not for the faint of heart. Even the evenings are brutal.

True, at least the 8ish in the mornings are fine.

Do people jog in winter. Well, I heard breathing itself gets difficult outside. I never walked more than 10-15 minutes in the strongest winter I've faced (-23c).
Wasn't really easy, probably I was scared....

Once the snow is clear off the road we still see the demented jogging lady running around our neighbourhood.

My personal theory is that she forgot where she lives about 4 years ago and has been shuffling around looking for a familiar front door ever since. I swear she never stops.

But she's the only one. Spring seems to be the most popular time..but its probably a side effect of cabin fever. Even Ive been known to try jogging in the spring, until my knees remind me why I stopped last time, and the time before that, and the time before that...

There is a guy who skis around even in the summer thought... so I suppose it all balances out.

There are are bunch of those folk in the gym connected to my place of work. We call them "Body-Nazis". Mostly, they're wymen. Or is that womyn, I forget?
