Hi,
My family and I are in the process of apply for PR and I am starting to look at schools for my kids who will be 14 & 13 when we move. I cant seem to find any grading system which tells me how good the schools are, something like the OFSTED system we have in the UK. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

When you arrive, you'll be allocated a school based on where you live. You get very little say in which school your child will go to.

Thanks for the replies, as we are able to choose where we live I was hoping someone would have an idea where I could find info on the individual schools performance.

You could take a look at this one, if you feel that it would help, but the majority of schools are much of a muchness.

You may want to look at the D of E for NS to ascertain the boundaries for each school board. http://www.ednet.ns.ca/contact/schools.shtml
