Did this last year and I got stung for import duties and DHL admin charges! Turned out to be quite expensive.

Free shipping does not mean FREE duties and taxes for Customs purposes
Be aware the duty on imported clothing not subject to NAFTA or one of the other free trade agreements can be expensive i.e. up to 17.5 % duty plus GST/HST.

I don't concern my self with these minor details, the credit card takes care of that.

They take the UK VAT off the price of the items so that helps and there's a whooping £10 voucher if you spend more than £50. Bargain!

Yep. There's another thread on it.

I bought a couple of packs of smalls (2 x £7). I should have made two orders (there was no minimum to get free delivery). I'd have been okay.

As it happened, there was a tax to pay and because there was a tax there was a fee for collection.

My free order had about $18 added.

Me too. I ordered two shirts for work that should have been around 60 quid, and ended up costing me $180. Wont be doing it again...

Hey, I'm always happy to know about good offers although the Canadian govt wanting to tax panties is an irritant
