Schooling info required
We have made the decisions and put the wheels in motion to emigrate to Alberta.
Our eldest child is 4 so has just started school here-can someone tell us whether the schooling is comparable with the uk ie what age do they start etc.

The best thing to do is get the information directly from the school board website ;Calgary Separate School Board, Calgary Public School Board, etc.

We are in Ontario - not sure if all provinces are the same, but the school ages are in years, as opposed to the uk system of September - August. Our youngest has just finished reception in England, but is going into senior KG here - fortunately Ontario is introducing full day KG, but I think elsewhere it is only part time, so a bit like preschool nursery in England. Our youngest is 5.
