We thought that we would be moving to Kelowna up until a few days ago, now it looks like my husbands new job will start in Saskatoon, bearing in mind, we will have a PR so can always find job in best place for us, which would you say is the better place to live and why?

They are chalk and cheese, you need to give us a little more to enable us to provide relevant advice. For me, if employment was not an issue, Kelowna would win hands down. But that is because Kelowna would suit my lifestyle much better.

I'd pick Saskatoon - mostly because I've never been there. I grew up in Vernon so I've gotten board with the Okanagan. I like places that are new to me.

Having said that, I got torn down here once for saying I liked Birmingham so don't take my word on Saskatoon.

As AlmostC says they are as different as chalk and cheese...I have never set foot in either but I do live in and love Saskatchewan

We said before we arrived here that when we got our PR we would go to Alberta - but I wouldnt dream of leaving here - life is just ...so easy in SK.

Don't rule it out - give it a go and make your own mind up
