Default RV Safety Regulations

Hi,
Can anyone tell me what the rules are for passengers travelling in RV's please?

Thinking about renting one for Alberta & BC trip in June and would like to know if the baby and toddler (9months & 3 y/old) (wife too) are supposed to be stapped in at all times etc., or can they have freedom to move in the back of the RV?

Thanks

Hi JustDoIt,

We were looking at RV hire for similar trip, from what I understand everyone has to be strapped in while the RV's moving and you also need proper kid seats like over here, most rental places have them to hire too.

I'm sure someone on here will know for sure but thats what I found.

Maybe see you on the road in June!

Sue.

We're doing a simular trip in May and were advised by our travel agent to take our own child seats, as there are only basic lap belts in the rear of the camper.

Thanks for the info so far folks...not as straightforward as I thought by the looks of things.
