Default Red Seal Of Approval: Electrical

Does anyone have any information on the Red Seal Of Approval: Electrical? I would very much appreciate it if somebody could advise me on what publications I require to study and perhaps where to get them from? Obviously know I have to take the exam in Canada - which will probably be Alberta. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

You have to contact the apprenticeship office in the province that you are interested in settling in. They will then be able to give you the relevant info.
Go to the link that i posted on your other thread and go to contacts, email or ring them and they will tell you which publications/text books may be of use.

Hi, All

My age is 42, please all be honest, will I be able to get a satisfactory job in canada (alberta in particular). Bearing in mind I do have to challenge the red seal of approval and pass it of course. I am willing to put my heart and soul into it. I just want a bit of reassurance I will be able to get a job at the end of it all - it is a big committment. Thanks all - all is welcome!!!!

It is just 'Red Seal' (not 'of approval'). First it depends what you call satisfactory. If you are an experienced tradesman and obtain your papers here, you stand as much chance as anyone. The trades are not doing especially well right now, as everywhere else.

There is no way anyone can give you this reassurance. My suggestion is get out to AB, meet up with potential employers and build up contacts.
