Thanks for clarifying that Umpatan. I have just recieved my 90 day letter and have decided that rather than sending in my proof of Education, ACPO Police Check, Proof of Finances, Work History and Experiences I will just print of your thread and send it back instead. You have saved me countless man hours and when the Immigration officer reads your thread he will see my case to enter Canada is bullet proof.

I'm just going to turn up at Immigration with all my wordly possessions and tell them I'm British, and demand they let me in to live.

Excellent... saved me a lot of time and money!

Yes. Point out to the Immigration Officer that if Britain hadn't built Canada he would not have a job. He'll probably also offer to give you the house that we built for him too!!!

Younger Birts looking to emigrate will be fine. Canada will have massive problems in the job market in the coming years due to the aging workforce.

This fact alone will dampen the impact this recession will have on headcount reductions. This clearly does not ring true for some industries. Boy am I glad I am out of the automotive world!

It does seem that the world has a massive over capacity to make cars - this industry is going to have to shrink to a very small % of it's current size for it to be sustainable.

True. I read somewhere that Canada's baby boomer's are a particularly over represented group, compared to other western countries. This will pose a host of problems in the future.
