Mr. Miller,

CIC instruct each post they should reassess their general policy regarding personal interview and most of selection decision made
based on submitted documents.

There is no interview or waiver news from singapore/India. Basically, July 2001 submitted file. A few file already waived because they applied from Singapore.

Someone post another message board that they will waive interview upto June 2001.

Please kindly give me some information regarding singapore recent file processing for interview or waiver.

Is it correct they will waive interview upto June 2001.?
Are they reassess the submitted file before Jan ,02 for interview or waiver?

It is stated that independent applications are being processed in about 15 to 27
months and that cases in which documents must be verified may take longer. And as I
already wrote in reply to your earlier post verification of documents in Bangladesh
takes quite long.

Do not compare processing times for cases submitted for example from Singapore with
your expected time frame - yours will be quite longer.

I know 3/4 person personally who already got their Visa or LP & all are citizen of Bangladesh.

Their timeline was 12 to 14 month upto interview. You know current processing time in Singapore, Do you think my selection decision may be held before march, 2003.
