Just looked inside (isn't Amazon wonderful!) and it is the fourth edition 2009 so should be up to date with regards to skilled worker application. It is the latest edition.

Found the Emigrate magazine really useful. However, we got the latest issue today with a letter inside saying that they will no longer be publishing it. We also subscribe to Muchmore, so, can anyone recommend any other emigration periodicals?

Aside from 'Living and Working in Canada', which several people have mentioned, I can whole heartedly recommend the hilarious 'How To Be a Canadian' by Will &Ian Ferguson!

I'm not surprised. When they did three separate papers for the three countires they were very, very useful. We cancelled our sub when we realised we were paying for a mag, 2/3 of which was of no interest to us.

Muchmor is apparently going into print? That should be good.

I second this. The comments about Sudbury and Tim Hortons are very funny

A contentious choice if past thread are anything to go by.

Often offered up as an example of the lack of humour in Canada by its detractors.
