-Canadians treat eachother better
Cons....
-Very tough job market

-Not very cultured
-Boring
-TV/Radio generally awful

Pros:
Slower pace (I think), even in Toronto which I guess by Canadian standards is fast paced, but is nothing like the pace of NY, Hong Kong, London etc.
Meritocratic system in place at work, it feels much easier for me to advance and get paid more in my career, than in the U.K , where you have to pay your dues even if you're good at what you do.
More liberal society, live and let live
Toronto at least is a very safe place to live, the GTA has the lowest crime rate in Canada
Great outdoor activities year round
Cons:
Ridiculously cold winters
Bank fees (although banking with PC has eliminated this for me)
Being away from family
Crappy TV!
Canada always seems to be in the shadow of the U.S.

If the TVs really that bad, get one of these:-
http://www.slingmedia.com/slingbox/
Give it a few years and all TV stations will broadcast over the net anyway.
Personally I hope I'll be out and about a bit too much to worry about TV!
