Default Procurement / Purchasing career in Winnipeg

Hello

We're fairly new to the forum although we've been reading through posts for a few months now.

My husband and I are currently planning a move from the UK to Winnipeg, Manitoba through the province's PNP.

My husband has worked in the purchasing profession within manufacturing for about 9 years and is MCIPS qualified. He has identified that he can gain the Canadian equivalent (PMAC), and has been watching out for jobs online (and applied for a couple). His current role is Senior Buyer for a large international manufacturer.

He's just after any help or advice anyone can provide in gaining a purchasing role in or around Winnipeg.

I have done a quick search on the forum and found a couple of old threads asking similar questions - has anyone since made the move or been successful in gaining employment in this field?

Thank you for any help
