Hi All
I just wanted to ask, we are thinking of moving to Canada, and heard the utilities (gas, electric) are very expencive, can anyone shed any light on this for me.

In Ontario, electricity is called "hydro" because most power used to be generated by Niagara Falls - and the name stuck. You may find this edifying:
