Not that I think it might really go anywhere. Sent my CV out last Friday to some random places in Alberta that were advertising for people to do jobs that I specialise in. Got a call from a company in Edmonton while I was out of signal - they want me to call them back regarding my application.
Nice.

Actually, I do like both cities - I just prefer visiting Edmonton because I find it easier to drive around and I like the shopping there, but I'm sure Calgary's great when you get to know it. I have been to Calgary a dozen or so times, but actually only one time that didn't involve catching/meeting a flight...and that was in 1995...so I'll shut up now

Is there any skiing or mountain biking nearby (Edmonton)? Also what would a 2bed rental in the South west side cost a month? Questions, questions

Well it'd probably be the 4hrs then as I'm an intermediate skier and downhill/xc biker
