Im basically from UK now in the US and will move to Canada. My company is based in Thornhill but one of the doctors we would like to see is in Markham.

I want to rent a house initially. Can I do that from here and move in October ? I want to stay close to the doctor ( 25- km is ok) but stay may be an hour from the company. I want to work from home but if i stay too close to the company it will be difficult to work from home...

Im looking for some safe nice neighbourhoods..

I live in Cornell - the N.E. corner of Markham and just 'up the road' from Thornhill - Cornell is a beaut place so try looking through these local sites for houses...
