we are going to canada on the 30th and we are taking our cat and dog we have taken them for there rabbis shot and we have to go back before we leave, but we have lost both of their historys i.e previous immunisations, would there be any reason we would need all this?

Hi.
Not 100% sure, but as long as you have proof of current jabs I am sure that is all that matters. If, for instance, you got a dog or cat from the animal shelter, they wouldn't always have their medical history.

Just to add, if you have used the same vet for a while, they should have a copy of their records.

As it was the old one turned up - in my daughters dressing up stuff - obviously!!

We needed to provide evidence for an old injury for drugs to travel with our dog - so the vet just printed out the whole history for our dog which included all appointments and vaccinations, so they should be able to do that for you.

cheers guys, they both have to go for checks 7 days before they fly as well.
