If your income tax bill is that high, you don't need a state pension. Distribute it to the less well off.

I actually find the term "bleating" slightly, but only slightly, offensive. What on earth has this little old lady said that was so offensive, dear dbd33?

See previous threads on this topic. it's not any particular little old lady but the great mass of aggrieved claimants who collectively bleat.

It's the unequal way that it's applied. It is indexed for expats living in some countries but not in others.

Surely there should be a one rule for all so why not stop the indexing in those countries?

Get receipts. Donations are tax-deductible.
