Passport request
Hi there everyone
the last time I posted a message it was about my partners Medical Examination which showed up an irregular heart beat and subsequently she failed her medical. The good news is after the Embasy requesting a further check from her own doctor, which came back as normal, we have now received a request for our passports.
Could anyone answer this question, the letter states that the passport meet certain requirements, this being an example, your surname must apear on the surname line of the bio-page of each passport. Does this mean that we all must have one of the newer passports with the chips inside?
If anyone could clear this up that would be a great help.
Thanks. Gary

Re: Passport request
I think it just means a machine readable one. look at the very bottom of the details page - if there are some letters and numbers then you are fine. If the bottom Inch or so is blank then you may have a problem. most passports are fine but a friend of mine whos passport was issued by the British Consulate in Geneva has problems Cause his isn't machine readable.

Re: Passport request
Hi Zoe,
Thanx for the reply. I feel CIC never make it clear exactly what they require. I thought the passports would be ok but thought I'd better ask.
Once again, Thanks.
