Toronto - if you don't know why, you should move there, you will fit right in

Despite it being my original first choice, I wouldn't fancy Calgary much.

Parry Sound but only because my FIL lives there. (Ford pick-up truck, checked-shirt, guns, drinks Molson Canadian - you get the picture).

All major Canadian cities have their problems, I haven't been to them all but I wouldn't fancy Vancouver much. Over rated, over priced & too much traffic for my liking.

This is a difficult question because there is so much of Canada.
I didnt like Edmonton much
, nor Toronto
. I can vaguely remember Calgary being like central London and empty during the non office hours (it was along time ago).
Quebec city was nice
For me Moncton didn't live up to it's reputation
I would imagine living in any one of the one-industry towns (paper mills etc) where the key employer has closed, is not much fun.

Does he drink at the Legion, complain that those 'GD immigrants are stealing all of us normal guys jobs', say 'youse guys', refer to his friends as his 'drinkin' buds' etc etc.

Actually they're probably be too many immigrants at The Legion for his liking.
