My parents lived in Great Bookham and there were lots of bright green parakeets that you'd see around too. Similar story in that some were accidentally released some years back.

People here are so inconsiderate. I thought this place was here for people to seek help to receive such ridiculous answers. I am honestly upset and yes guess what you can take animals into the cabin so I hope one of you gets onto one of them flights. I have been on so many flights with stinking and screaming babies and children and would have preferred to fly without them on-board, too! To the people that are leaving their pets behind do not give a sod about them , unless of course your pet does not love you then well done! A pet that loves you and is left behind often suffers from depression and may even die so have living with that!

Do you really think your parrot loves you? Just because you may have taught it say "Love you too", doesn't mean it isn't lying through its, err, beak.

As others have said, lighten up. Your question has already been answered to the best of the community's ability.

Au contraire, I own an old border collie who I would go so far as to say I love. He is also very pleased with our company, but then he has no choice. I'm not daft enough to anthropomorphise the relationship.

Oh lighten up love !!

I think yo can only take small animals in the cabin on internal flights . . not continental.

TBH I would rather have some one with a puppy next to me than a screaming child - but if the puppy started making a noise it would get as much of a dig and an evil glare a a noisy kid would !

And yes I have kids and pets and yes I have had to travel with both!

Oh dear, perhaps you should seek your answers elsewhere, as despite what you say you have been given advice, and yes i have kids and pets and bought them both to canada 3 yrs ago, it aint rocket science

Any flight I had with pets on, the pets were no problem, it was the owners who I would have preferred to kick off or put in the hold.

Pets quickly make reattachments, their only loyalty is to who puts food in front of them. If you think they give a stuff about you, stop kidding yourself.
