Default P.R Cards

Can anyone help with a bit of advice, We will betravelling to Toronto in April to Validate our visa's and "land" but will return to the U.K. after 2 weeks. We are hoping our Permenent resident cards will arrive at our relatives address before we return to the U.K. Do we need the P.R Cards to re enter Canada when we move permanently in August?

No. This has been covered recently in the immigration area, basically if you have the paper form and a return ticket (to get on the plane easily) you will be fine travelling without if you have too.(assuming British or other "visa waiver" passport)

No.. as said above. We have made 4 trips since we 'landed' and not been asked for PR cards at airport.

It is so nice to have them though

So would you have to show proof of funds and goods to follow?

Only when you land, and they can be hit or miss about it even then...

You arent landing on subsequent trips, the paperwork (ROLF) is not the same.
