One Way Ticket!
We are booked on a one way ticket from Manchester to Vancouver Sat 4th August, Will we be ok with just our pos LMO,Job offer, personal docs etc? I have been assured that we can pick up WP on POE by some of you but am now worrying about the check in staff at Manchester! Will they be ok accepting what we have or will we need to purchase a return ticket? Anyone with experience - particularly from Manchester please advise.!! I'm not happy unless Im worrying about something!

I came to Toronto on a one way, got WP at the airport, no problem.
I wish I had bought a return though! As I never realised until after completing the booking that the cheap single price had turned into almost as much as a return after the added the 'one-way' surcharge.
Thieving buggers.

Ok, will try and chill out now - but kids finish school on Friday and just been handed their assessment files by their head teacher who shed a tear! Thought he would be glad to see the back of them.
Which poses another question, Would you ship all your files/bank statements/documents with household belongings or carry in your luggage. Dont want to risk them getting lost. Told you Im not happy til Im worrying about something!

Re: One Way Ticket!
i'm flying out the day after you to get our WP at POE also,
we are taking a file with all of our imnportant documents in it, but also getting anything really important copied and notorized just incase it gets lost. the solictor i am using with the house is doing it for nothing for me.

The most important document for WP at POE is the LMO, together with the job offer.

Re: One Way Ticket!
I returned to the UK a couple of months after to finish some things off and bought a return from Canada.
Having an open return for a year, with no real additional cost may have been handy.
Just got fed up at the time when realised the single was all but the same price as a return, didn't feel right.
