Default One Way Ticket ????

hi all,

i just purschased a one way ticket via Canadian Affair because i have now recieved a tempory work permit - i had no idea when i would come back to UK to visit family or do medical for PR app so i bought one way as was much cheaper but after reading confirmation email it said at the bottom of the page :

If you are travelling on a one way ticket you must have either a correct entry visa, a return ticket or a Canadian passport.

what does that mean - all i have is CIC LONDON Authorization Letter and British Passport

i'm very worried they might not let me fly or once in Toronto airport not let me go until i have bought a return ticket - anyone know what to do ???

Don't worry I was in the exact same situation a few mths ago. I flew London to Vancouver with Canadian Affair on a one way ticket and had no problems at all. My temp working visa was only valid for 6 mths as well..... no one even asked

I did carry proof of funds and all other documents just in case

Hi my daughter and I flew on one way tickets, to meet my hubby who was already here on 3 month work permit that was due to expire two weeks after I arrived, I was given a visitors permit upon landing no probs.
