Offer on the house
#1
After about 30 viewings in about 3 months, we received an offer on the house. We have rejected the initial offer as the house is priced VERY competitively and they still came in 10% under the asking price. We are officially the cheapest 3 bedroom in the area and while I will drop the price to sell, I have a bottom figure and they're under it.
So please wish us luck with the negotiations, this is the 1st house I've ever tried selling and crap is is stressful
We've also got more viewings booked in, which says to me we're still priced well...and we're expecting another offer to come in from a guy who had a second viewing on Saturday.

crap, did I say we had an offer?
we've got two now...and the good news is we're above our rock bottom price now so once the estate agents confirm they have the financing in place it looks like we'll have a buyer, subject to contract.
and the super good news is both are 1st time buyers, so no chains!

thanks everyone. we're expecting the final offers in the morning. so fingers crossed by then we'll be sold subject to contract.
I won't believe it until the contracts get signed but its another step closer.
good luck too, to everyone else going through the same.
