Can't help with suggestions other than to say concentrate on getting a family doctor as you won't get in to see a OB/GYN without a referral from a GP.

Must have referral to see specialists in this country.

I just saw Dr. Zevallos, he's an OB/GYN in Milton. I was really impressed, but as mentioned, you need to be referred by your family doctor.

Milton is effectively a baby-factory (all the young families!!), so there are quite a few OB/GYNs for the size of the town.

If you have read other threads about medical care in Canada you'll know that in many cases finding a GP to "take" you on is not easy. We have a dearth of them in Canada. If you're experiencing this go to a walk-in clinic, see one of their doctors and he/she can refer you to the appropriate specialist. You should be able to ask for the OB/GYN of your choosing.

Actually, Milton has a lot of family doctors taking patients - a lot of new clinics opening up everywhere. There is a new clinic at Derry and Holly, and I think a doctor is still taking patients at the Hawthorne Village Medical Clinic on the corner of Derry and Trudeau. Worst case scenario, there's a walk-in clinic in Superstore.

Hope you have better luck then me, but I am in BC and it can be bad in certain area's trying to find a doctor, and for management of chronic issues walk in clinics are not very good, they are great for some random not feeling well but not for much else.
