Default Nova Scotia fishing

For those interested, inland fishing season kicks off today.

Annual license prices are:
  • Resident: $ 23.71
  • Resident Senior (65 years and above) : $ 5.65
  • Non-Resident (seasonal): $ 53.79
  • Non-Resident (7 Day): $ 29.72
  • One-Day Licence: $11.67

Under-16s don't need a license (they fish for "free").
Licenses are sold by most retailers including Walmart and local convenience stores. To get a "Resident" license, all you need is an NS driver's license.

Regulations for 2008 (and everything else you need to know) http://www.gov.ns.ca/fish/sportfishi...8angregs.shtml

And some general stuff here.
