An hour in each direction out of Halifax would be. Chester, windsor, Truro, and Musquodoboit harbour.
Depends what speed you drive. We go up and down the full length of the 103 on a regular basis. Lunenburg is within an hour of Halifax.
Truro I would say is more like 1 1/2, Windsor 35 to 40. Never really thought much about Chester...

my OH also travels along the 103 on a regular basis and there is no way you can do Lunenburg to Halifax in 45 mins. On a good day maybe just over an hour but usually 90 mins. It's renowned for it's accidents as there are so few places to safely overtake

It depends where in Halifax you need to be, you can do Lunenburg - Halifax in an hour but the outskirts of Halifax.

Honestly, I am not trying to have a dig at you, nor am I trying to insult you. However, I don't think its constructive to give such crap and misleading advice to potential immigrants.

Hi Andy - you must now be back in the UK!! Hope you settle back in well. I fully understand your need to move back, we have also not had a particularly good experience. We are fast approaching our 4th canniversary, however it will be our last and looking forward to returning home in the summer!!

Be good to hear how your move back to the UK has gone?

Oh just seen Andy closed the account - guess I won't be hearing how the move went!!!
