Not been on here in ages

I would have to check, but she had not grown for at least a year and her referral was delayed by the GP because he thought she would grow naturally. I think she was about 4ft 6ins, or possibly shorter when she first started the treatment, so to get to 5ft 7ins is amazing....and she is still growing, so we are really pleased.
As for the ban, the last time I asked them to reconsider the lifelong ban they just completely ignored my letters (nothing unusual there lol). I may try again soon, but to be absolutely honest we have no desire at all to set foot in Canada again after what has gone on
However, for the sake of Pauline's sister in Ontario, we may visit if Leanne's ban can be overturned.

Hi Gray C, I remember you too. I've not been on here in ages. It's good to read that all is well with your daugher. I don't understand CHC's logic either

We didn't get into Canada back in 2005 being just 2 points short on the skilled worker category. My husband tried for those extra points by sitting the French test in London on 7th July 2005, the same day as the bombings
He was travelling on the underground that morning and missed one of the bombs by about 10 mins. While he was sitting the written exam he heard the bus bomb go off

Hi Gray C, Yes, many of us are still here and waiting.......and waiting. As you will see...the latest delaying tactic by CHC is to have some do sputum tests and wait for 6-8 weeks then get another xray done by the hospital that says they can't see what was wrong with the first xrays.......just to show in their statistics that they are doing their quota of TB checks!
We just have to go along with it all though......
Good luck with getting the CHC decision on travelling to Canada rescinded.

Hi guys and gals
Good luck to you all in getting into Canada. I hope it all works out well for you.
I have just composed yet another letter to CIC to get my daughter's ban overturned....maybe I might get a reply this time

Hi Gray C
Having been on BE nearly 5 years now(!), I remember your story and battles with CIC. I'm so pleased to hear that your daughter's treatment was successful. 5 ft 7 is amazing, I'm 5 ft 3 so that sounds really tall to me!
Best of luck to the whole family for the future

Glad that your daughter is fine though, are you planning on emmigrating anywhere in the future or was it Canada due to the rellies being there?

My wife was the one that wanted to move to Canada mainly, because her sister lives there

Thankfully members of this forum were very supportive and do not consist of members of CIC, otherwise I would never have been back.
