Kingston is about 3 to 3.5 hours from the Toronto airport and the traffic can defiantly add and hour or two - try the toll road 407? (I think just north of the Airport) If you are picking up a hire car too - the trip to Kingston might just be too far (have done it twice this year) fit to drop after.
