Hi Lisa & Steve

I'm trying to find work now to speed up the process but that is not always easy so we are going over in Jan 08 for face to face contact..

So how is Dublin these days?

Dublin's not the place it used to be.

Price rises everywhere, crime rising, gangland shootings every week, health service in a mess, traffic chaos, rain rain and more rain, shop workers don't speak english any more (mainly polish or russian), dodgy politicians "running" the country, can't buy a house in suburbs of Dublin for less than €400K, creche fees higher than mortgage payments, too few schools, indirect taxation rising, bad service on public transport unless you're lucky enough to live near the Luas, etc. etc.

Other than that, same old same old.

HA HA

Sounds like England too. I have heaps of relatives in the Eire and they say there is a recession on its way. I believe there is one coming in England too so its time to get out.

Cum on Canada let us in!!!!

Hopefully this time next year you will know alot more. You need to forget it now for a while and get on with things unless your thinking of applying for a job and going a different route.

Colin,

That's the plan at the mo - try and get job offer and go LMO/WP route. But as KJM said, not easy from over here so will be looking at a short trip over probable late January 08.
