Newbie from Dublin

Hi,

I've only just come across this site - lots of great information and advice - wish I'd found it a lot sooner!

Skilled Worker PR applied for 20.08.07 - AOR rec'd 17.9.07.

I'm a bookkeeper and Steve is in the military (Air Corps), and we've 2 kids aged 11 and 4. Hoping to settle in Atlantic Canada as soon as we can via LMO/WP - rather than waiting 4years+ through London.

Hi to you both. Glad you've found the site. A real mine of information and fun. Me and my OH just moved to BC (2 months) from Co Cork. To be honest we don't miss a thing. Good luck with everything

We are in Nova Scotia - there is always the commuinty identified route if you if you want to beat the wait ans are in the right circumstances. We applied last december and were resident this summer.

Cheers for that. Have been looking at getting in through that route - our circumstances are just not right at the mo. Lisa is actively applying for bookkeeper jobs over there and has had a couple of initial replies - further discussions to take place over the next few weeks so hopefully things might happen sooner rather than later.:)

You need to come to Newfoundland. You'd feel right at home.
